There are 2 daily ferries (2.5-4 hours) and 6 daily flights (40 minutes) from Athens to Milos. If you have the time (or hate small planes) we recommend you take the ferry at least one way.

Option 1 -- 7:40 am departure from Piraeus port in Athens, 11:00 am arrival at Adamas port in Milos via SEAJETS

Option 2 -- 9am departure from Piraeus port in Athens, 12:20 arrival at Adamas port in Milos via SEAJETS

There is a small domestic airport in Milos (MLO) with flights from and to Athens (ATH). If you book early enough, flights can often be cheaper than the ferries and it is certainly quicker (40 minutes). The scenery as you fly over the island is quite wonderful so make sure to book a window seat!

Transportation will be provided to/from all events; however, we highly recommend renting a car if you want to explore the island (cabs can be expensive).

You can also rent ATVs and motorcycles. One good thing about them is that you can park easily at popular beaches which sometimes have limited parking.

Taxis can be a bit spotty but are the way to get around if you don't rent a car. The main company is MILOS TAXIS (+30 22870 22219). Schedule your ride in advance.
