Resembling a magical moonscape, this bone-white rocky beach stands proud against the sapphire waters of the sea. It is considered one of the best beaches on the island of Milos as well as one of the most photographed beaches in fashion and music videos. Formed by volcanic rocks filled with natural bubbled-shaped hollows, this unique beach is nestled amidst the dramatic scenery, making it ideal for diving and snorkeling adventures near the sunken shipwreck.
Papafragas Beach is one of the most impressive beaches of the island of Milos. Access is quite difficult, however it is a favorable spot worth visiting. You can get there over a narrow path. From the top of the rock the beach looks like a turquoise swimming pool or canal, with high white cliffs surrounding it, and there are caves.Resembling a gigantic swimming pool with cyan crystalline waters this beach is a very well hidden jewel of Milos.
